Congratulations to Po Chan, Hulburt Visuals and the rest of the team for "The Last 3 Minutes"!
This past weekend, "The Last 3 Minutes" was honored with the Golden Ticket (Best in fest) win at The SoCal Independent Film Festival, 2010! Po Chan and company certainly deserve this win.
"The Last 3 Minutes" is the heartfelt tale of William Turner, who's life is relived in the final moments before death. Ms. Chan beautiful lays out this character's remarkable life by passing backwards through time. The brilliantly used crystal talisman, offers a connective thread, between the good times and the bad time of his life. William carries this object with him until the very end.
On the first viewing, this charming film had me in tears. The same was true for the 20th viewing, the 30th viewing and I predict every single time in the future.
Shot on the Canon 5D and 7D, this short film proves that with a good story, a brilliant director and an amazing cinematographer, a compact still camera can make a strong and lasting impression in the world of film making.
If you haven't seen this amazing film, please do so at once:
