Batista is out to bitch about his I-Quit match. He says he did something he'd never though he do, say I quit. He says he only said it because his life was being threatened. Because of Cena's malicious actions, he's contemplating filing suit for what happened to him and the WWE universe for supporting what's happened to him. He says that's not a way a WWE Championship match is supposed to happen, duct tape , slammed off cars and that he believes in honor. Because of injuries, he's out for months, weeks, maybe years but he will get his rematch. But the new GM is out and it's....BRET HART!. Bret says there's a new sheriff in town and what he says goes. He says Batista has a chance to achieve his rematch clause, but Batista claims he's hurt, Bret says his opponent is hurt too, Randy Orton. Batista says he's hurt and can't compete. Bret says to take it or leave it, while Dave threatens to quit|Yes Please!!| Randy Orton wins by forfeit. Batista says the fans are nothing without him, they'll be bored without him and he QUITS!. I'll give credit where credit is due, Dave sold the storyline well, and seeing Bret as the GM rocked.
Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match.
Sheamus Vs Mark Henry. Gee I wonder who's gonna be victorious here. Pretty bland in my opinion, nobody takes Henry serious these days anymore anyway. Sheamus wins the pump kick.

Jon Lovitz is on the phone backstage, before the lovely Maryse interrupts him. She says she's the premier WWE diva. She claims she has really hot photos that will win the Superstar search. He asks for a sneak peek, but she refuses. Lovitz says stuff in french, while Maryse says she might be interested. Lovitz says he's not and she scares him off. Pointless, but Maryse look great.

Edge is with Brett in the back. Edge says he deserves a one on one Championship match. Bret says Orton has already qualified, so Edge says by that logic he should face an equally beaten up John Cena. Jericho interrupts and says Batista's had too many opportunities, he's beaten Edge, yet he keeps getting the short end of the stick. Bret says Edge Vs Jericho Vs Cena will take place. If either guy wins, they'll qualify if Cena wins, neither do. Edge says he's a better champion and a better Canadian and that he'll prove it. Jericho warns Brett not to make an enemy out of him. Effective if nothing overwhelming.

Maryse and Alicia Fox Vs Gail Kim and Eve Torres. Yet another crappy diva match, thankfully not as bad most though. Maryse wins with The French Kiss.
United States Championship.
R-Truth Vs The Miz. Quite an exciting bout here, these two worked wonderfully together. I'm not a Truth fan but he's an exciting talent. Truth wins the title, with The Lie Detector.

John Cena does another typical interview, hilariously calling Sheamus a Human Jar of Mayonnaise. Cena says he's done playing nice and all the competitors should watch out.
Superstar Search. Lovitz is out being escorted by The Bella Twins|what a surprise|. Lovitz has them put him into the ring. Khali and Singh are out in Tuxedo's and look ridiculous at that. Jillian Hall is out next, but Lovitz hits the buzzer|Mean|. Lovitz says he should look for secret talent in the audience. A fan randomly comes in saying he can pull his eye out of his socket and does so. Ted Dibiase is out with Virgil and wants to buy it off him, and if not he'll beat him for it. Santino is out makes funny names and hits Virgil with some weird pinch maneuver. He tries it on Dibiase, but to no avail. Ted his Dream Street on Santino. Weird and not in a good way. These pointless skits gotta stop.
The Hart Dynasty Vs Kozlov and William Regal. Bland and just a storyline to set up some new arrivals, they look Samoan from the looks of things. All 3 go up and hit a splash.

NXT rookies insult each other and see who's gonna be gone next. Yawn, next.
Jerry Lawler brings up Cole's confrontation with Bryan Danielson on NXT. Cole says he'll make Bryan apologize if not he'll sue him for everything he has. Hey, if it means beating up Cole more, I'm all for it.
Jericho confronts Edge backstage. He says they both know, Cena isn't really Cena tonight. Jericho says he's gonna get him 1st. Edge says it's going to be a race and he's gonna beat him to it. Edge says he might not beat Cena at all, he might beat Jericho. Nice continuation here.

Edge Vs Chris Jericho Vs John Cena. Fabulous triple threat match here, all 3 worked wonderfully together. Many exciting near-falls and at times I wasn't sure if Edge was gonna do it. Edge wins with The Spear.
Afterwords. Sheamus is out and confronts everyone and that's it folks....I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD!. Here comes Mr. Orton, to a big pop. He stares all the competitors down as the show fades to black.
Bottom line. Average stuff here, too much clowning around for my liking.
