Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Stefan says Mason only has superhuman abilities during the full moon. However, at the carnival Stefan learned that Mason has superhuman strength even without a full moon when they arm wrestled, and Damon witnessed Mason's superhuman strength and agility when Mason fought a carny.See more »
Quotes:
Damon Salvatore:[Appears behind Stefan] What are you doing?
Stefan Salvatore:Negotiating peace on your behalf.
Damon Salvatore:But I don't want peace!
Stefan Salvatore:Well, consider it opposite then.
Damon Salvatore:Stefan. Please tell me you don't seriously think a handshake just solved our problem?
Stefan Salvatore:No actually, I think that the first chance Mason Lockwood gets he's going to drive a stake through your heart... and then through mine, all because you took it upon yourself to try and kill him. So thank you, because we don't have enough problems!

Disclosing Secrets, 11 September 2013
Author: Claudio Carvalho from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Mason discloses to Tyler how he triggered the Lockwood family curse and turned into a werewolf when he accidentally killed his friend Jimmy in Florida. Meanwhile Stefan and Elena decide to simulate a fight to lure Katherine. Stefan, Damon and Mason go to a picnic and Mason tells to Liz that Stefan and Damon are vampires. Then Mason goes to the woods and Stefan and Damon confront him, but the Salvatore brothers are hit by Liz and two deputies and Liz injects them with verbena. Tyler discloses the secret of his family to Jeremy and he decides to give the moonstone to Mason. Caroline is forced to expose herself to her mother to save Stefan and Damon. Mason brings the stone to a car parked in a dark area and delivers it to Katherine, who had plotted the attack of Jimmy.

"Kill or Be Killed" is an engaging episode of "The Vampire Diaries" where secrets are disclosed: Mason to Tyler about the Lockwood family curse; Mason to Liz about who the Salvatore brothers really are; Tyler to Jeremy about the curse of his family; and Caroline to Liz about what she has become. However the secret of the moonstone is still a mystery to be revealed on the next episodes. My vote is eight.
