I expect many shows to be the type of show that starts out really well
and just gets less and less wonderful as the writers run out of ideas
and the expectations get higher, but Parks and Recreation seems to be
getting better and better. The season starts out strongly. There is
more of the character Chris, who seemed like a one-episode guest star
type of character - though this is the most recent episode I've seen
and I'm not sure if he's here to stay yet.
The supremely annoying Mark seems to be out of the picture and it also seems like Ben is starting to become a recurring character. The episode picks off after the summer of the events in the second season. Andy and April will probably be together within the next few episodes. These are just a few fairly obvious thoughts I had while watching the episode.
It's a great episode. And as far as comedy's concerned, the episode hits big.
