Moe states that he moved to Springfield because the Zip Code spells the word "BOOBS". The US Postal Service website reports that there is no Zip Code 80085. However, the reverse (58008) which would spell "BOOBS" if turned upside down, happens to be the Zip Code of the tiny town of Barney, North Dakota.See more »

Four Great Characters Collide in this Charming Episode,, 13 October 2010
Author: Dillon Harris from Ireland

Moe Letter Blues is a terrific Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. The story is very complicated when you think about it, as it has to analyse the last several hours of three different characters as they try to evaluate why one of their wives may have left them for Moe, but it is actually very straight forward to watch, the story was developed very well and perfectly constructed. We get to see four great Simpsons characters shine in this episode, Homer, Apu, Reverend Lovejoy and Moe, they are all very different in personalities and that mix combined to make an episode that is not like any other. It's basically divided up in to three segments (Homer's story, Apu's and Lovejoy's) and they are all great, I didn't find any to be weaker than the other, they were all on an even scale, and the set up of the episode keeps you anxiously waiting for the finale, which I think was a great position to put the audience in. A very clever and different episode that never forgets to be funny, Moe Letter Blues is certainly a highlight of the twenty first season.

When Homer, Reverend Lovejoy and Apu all take their children on a trip to give their wives a break from the kids, Moe sends them a letter saying that hes gonna leave Springfield with one of their wives. The three reminisce to find out who it could be.
