He's B-a-a-c-k!

You just know Shane Casey has to be the focus of this season-ending episode, because he was featured a few times during the year and was still at large. Sure enough, he is, and that's fine because he's a pretty fascinating evil guy. It turns out we'll see more of him next year (or at least one episode) as the CSI like to keep us hanging for months until a new season begins.

Anyway, Casey's target, in turns out, is one of the CSI members and that "situation" turns out to be quite tense. I might as well say it because IMDb does here on the title page - it's Danny, who is taking a rare vacation with his wife and baby girl. Can CSI catch Casey before he gets to Danny?

Well, yes and no - that's how they hook you into the opening of next year's season's opener.
