This episode revolves around Jiwoong trying to convince Yeonsu and Ung to join the documentary. I still don't know what his underlying motivations are. Is he trying to destroy his friend, given he already knows the history. Does he want them to get back together and burn in flames? My understanding is that he has a thing for Yeonsu but... really can't tell anything now. This episode showed a bit of cheesy writing that the couples suddenly start to run across each other when they haven't for 5 years. Too convenient for me. However, I do really like the town they live in - it's really distinct and bright and slightly "Korean" even though very select places in Korea look like this. I think it's a perfect setting for this kind of show. Suddenly ran across each other.
I liked the epilogue scene as it characterized Yeonsu quite well. Even though she says she has not suffered from the breakup, she indeed has. She is the silent crier type -someone who doesn't show her struggles. Strong on the outside, tender on the inside, which probably influenced her to want some assurance and confirmation of Ung's affection as we saw in the previous episode. It also highlights in this episode that while Yeonsu did have many flaws, she was different to Ung in a unique way. It looks like that the highlight has been so far set on Yeonsu and her character so I wonder how they will balance it out on Ung. It still isn't really clear what pushed them to breaking up but I am sure we will find out slowly through flashbacks.
