Near the end of 2009, Britain's Bluebird Films teamed up with Spain's famed Private porn label for distribution, and this title is the only one I've found so far as evidence of the collaboration. It is marked "Not for sale in the US", not a good sign, since porn fans in America are a large part of both labels' target audience.
As with many Bluebirds, a Volume 2 was also shot but appears to have never been released. This has often occurred, most notably in the case of the ill-advised XXX version of Shakespeare's MacBeth (!!), of which Parts 2 and 3 never made it to the public for viewing.
Steve Perry, in his hammy "Ben Dover" persona is the master of ceremonies, styling each segment as if an episode of a demented TV series. The content is truly lame, more gross-out than eroticism, as Perry rides the MILF bandwagon into the ground.
Only notable vignette is a poor-taste exploitation of pregnancy, lower-grade than most Bluebird releases and pretty crummy even for Private. Rebecca Smyth, evidently in dire need of cash, appears as a really pregnant lady, submitting to Perry and his partner in mayhem Keni Styles for humping in various positions, plenty of fingering and other slobbering ridiculing her maternity status. This particular fetish has a well-established niche in kinky porn, but seeing it in a mainstream context like this one is disconcerting.
Victoria Browne, Demi Delia, Georgina Smith and Mandy are the other obscure actresses who put up with Perry's antics. It's all considerably amateurish, and the result probably went a long way toward Private's honchos reconsidering whether they wanted to deal with this low-level porn. Ironically, Bluebird shortly thereafter launched into its big-budget, over-done phase with a series of crummy but bombastic projects by Nick Steele and Paul Chaplin dealing with Batman, Catwoman and even a riff on "Blade Runner", last-named never released at all.
As a completist I regret the unavailability of Vol. 2 of this junker, but as a realist I should be thankful for small favors -if it did exist I'd have to hunt it down, overpay, and then watch a piece of crap. End credits combine the casts for both parts, with much of the talent held back for the missing Part 2.
