‘Peter Rabbit’ Is A Wildly Weird Take On A Beloved Classic [Review]

It’s hard to make sense of “Peter Rabbit.” Based on Beatrix Potter‘s beloved, century-old British literary mainstay, this CG/live-action hybrid adaptation enlists Will Gluck, the American director/co-writer behind an inconsistent batch of studio comedies, including “Easy A,” “Friends With Benefits,” “Fired Up” and 2014’s “Annie” remake, to bring this early 20th century garden rabbit to the new millennium.

The Preview Reel: Fifty Shades Freed, Peter Rabbit, and The 15:17 to Paris

Welcome to this week’s “Preview Reel” column, wherein we look at the week’s upcoming wide-release movies. Last week was an especially slow week as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) regained the top spot from Maze Runner: The Death Cure. That likely won’t happen this week as there are three big releases aiming at different demographics. The final chapter of the Fifty Shades series whips into theaters, while Peter Rabbit is aimed towards family audiences, and The 15:17 to Paris looks to please the older demographic. Let’s see which comes out on top.

Fifty Shades Freed

What we are excited about: The fact that this is the final installment, seriously. Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) was a boring, poorly made, not-so-erotic erotic thriller, and Fifty Shades Darker (2017) was even worse. So, hope for the third installment being a step in the right direction is almost non-existent, and we

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's Love Story Is a Real-Life Rom-Com

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's Love Story Is a Real-Life Rom-Com
Who wouldn't buy a ticket to this movie? Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who are celebrating their second wedding anniversary this week, have been candid about how their romance finally got off the ground: they were FWBs! Their attempt at being casual about it, the both of them only recent single and sure that neither was ready for a relationship, obviously failed miserably. But the really notable thing about their relationship's earliest days is the fact that life was truly reflecting art for the handsome pair. "We, oddly, both did a movie called—I did Friends With Benefits, he did a movie called No Strings Attached," Kunis recalled to Howard Stern in 2016. "If we just paid...

Ashton Kutcher on His First Kiss With Mila Kunis: "She Was Like My Little Sister"

  • Popsugar
Ashton Kutcher on His First Kiss With Mila Kunis:
If you're having a hard time naming a cuter couple than Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, we don't blame you. The pair first met on the set of That '70s Show in 1998, when Ashton was 19 and Mila was 14. At the time, Ashton was not romantically attracted to Mila and only viewed her as his "little sister." During an interview with Howard Stern on Wednesday, the actor revealed what it was really like to kiss Mila back then. "I did her chemistry homework for her," Ashton explained. "I think I was her first kiss on the show. We have our first kiss like memorialized on the TV show . . . It was really weird. I was like, 'Isn't this illegal?' It was really awkward. She was 14! She was like my little sister." RelatedAshton Kutcher Reveals the Key to His Marriage: "Everything Mila Says Is Right" While Mila previously told Howard that she wasn't attracted to Ashton when she was a teenager, her husband believes otherwise. "She has a journal, like a diary of when she was a kid that she wrote . . . she thought I was cute," Ashton said. "At first I think she thought that I was good looking. Shortly thereafter, I was just annoying to her because I was like a big brother." Ashton and Mila kept in touch after That '70s Show ended, and years later, they reconnected at a party, where they shared their second kiss. "She's like, 'You're not ready to be in a relationship' and I'm like, 'I"m not ready to be a in a relationship,'" Ashton confessed. "It was funny because I'd just done this movie called No Strings Attached and she just did a movie called Friends with Benefits and we legitimately lived out our movies, which was virtually the same movie." According to Ashton, both he and Mila were aware of the sparks that were flying at the time. "I was smoking cigarettes at the time and I was still a smoker and she had quit smoking and she wanted me to like shotgun cigarette smoke so she could breathe it in. And I was like, 'Well alright.' And so I started doing this and gradually through the night, it got closer and closer and closer," he said. "I think it was pretty mutual - it was kind of obvious that things were happening." Fast-forward to present day, and Ashton and Mila are married and have two kids together, 2-year-old daughter Wyatt and nearly 1-year-old son Dimitri. Funny how life works, right?

Ashton Kutcher Dishes About First On and Off-Screen Kisses with Mila Kunis: ‘It Was Obvious Things Were Happening’
Ashton Kutcher vividly remembers both of his first kisses with wife Mila Kunis.

The actor starred on That ’70s Show opposite Kunis when he was 19 and she was 14, years before they would begin dating and later marry. At the time, Kutcher wasn’t attracted to Kunis romantically, but rather he viewed her like a little sister.

“I did her chemistry homework for her,” Kutcher, 39, told Howard Stern on The Howard Stern Show radio program on Wednesday. “I think I was her first kiss on the show. We have our first kiss like memorialized on the TV show.”

Editorial Blog: Modern Romance in Bollywood is Half-baked

What is Bollywood’s obsession with half-baked relationships? This concept has been seen in films such as Shudh Desi Romance, Ok Jaanu, and Befikre. Why be boyfriend and girlfriend when you can be free, date others but still come home to a guy or girl and have the benefits of a relationship? Most recently the just released Half Girlfriend is also going along with this new “trend”. The title says it all: Dost Se Zyada, Girlfriend Se Kam (Something more than a friend but less than a girlfriend) so basically a friend with benefits.

Bollywood is worldwide known for it’s deep love stories in which the feeling of love is portrayed so beautifully. The longing for each other, the feeling you want to spend the rest of your life with that person, the need for the other. Ram Leela is just one such example of recent years. But with urbanization,

Where Are ‘Nsync Now? Catching Up with the Best-Selling Boyband
Since saying “Bye, Bye, Bye” in 2002, Justin Timberlake, Jc Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick have each built careers for themselves outside of ‘Nsync — the blockbuster boyband that brought them worldwide fame in the ’90s.

Though there aren’t plans for the group to get back together and make music any time soon, they’re still good friends — reuniting most recently in August for Chasez’s 40th birthday bash.

“The guys spent the entire night together,” a source told People at the time. “They all sat in a group and just reunited, relived and had such a ball.
