Alicia and the partners leave the annual Bar Association dinner to deliberate. At the Bar Association dinner, a third candidate -- attorney Wendy Scott-Carr -- announces her run for state's attorney. Peter's attempt to convince her to be his deputy falls on deaf ears. Did You Know?

During the bar association gala, the attendees are entertained by the Steppenwolf Theatre Company performing scenes from a play called "The Cow with No Country." Although Steppenwolf is a real (and acclaimed) Chicago theater company, there is no such play as "The Cow with No Country" (although the short pieces included during the gala scene show that it is a parody of the play "War Horse"). VIP Treatment So True to Life ****
27 October 2010 | by See all my reviews

What are the ramifications of filing a lawsuit regarding sexual harassment or assault? This theme is excellently examined in the latest episode of this hit television show.

Notice how politics is used to get a law firm to drop its pending case. Notice how the accused has to be questioned thoroughly, not only to see if the veracity is true, but to see how she would be under cross examination from the defense.

While this is going on, Peter has to now contend with an able black woman entering the race for state attorney general. Will the 2 gentlemen divide their vote and therefore bring this woman victory?

Even the mild-mannered, Will Gardner is brought into a fist fight here showing that there is only so much that a human being can take, especially when provoked.

Anyone beginning to realize that if they ever making a film biography of the late Susan Hayward, Julianne Margulies would be perfect to play the outstanding actress?
