Storyline

A Navy commander, Jason, an expert in encryption for websites, disappears, and someone has abducted his 14-year-old daughter, Amanda, from their home; Callen and company investigate; G, Sam, Kensi, and Deeks visit the house; Kensi finds both blood and the father, who has returned. While the team talk with Jason, he receives a video clip showing the burial of Amanda, alive, inside a wooden box; Sam recalls how that feels; the FBI connects the MO with a convict, Lucas, now behind bars, so the FBI claims its jurisdiction over the kidnapping case; Jason appeals to G and Sam; the latter says they'll see what they can do; Hetty tells Sam to find Amanda. Eric and Nell find a thread, which leads to Andre, the brother of Lucas; the team talk with the brothers; Lucas cooperates and leads the team to burial sites; Eric learns about Andre's new travel plan, so G and Sam interfere; the team, using subterfuge, flush out the people responsible and find Amanda, still alive. Goofs

"When Sam and Callen show the video of the girl buried alive with the faked glove, the girl's mouth is covered with a piece of duct tape. However, when the two open the coffin to rescue the girl, there is nothing covering her mouth." When Amanda was buried, unconscious, she had tape over her mouth. That's when the video was taken. When she woke up toward the beginning of the episode, she pulled the tape off of her mouth to scream for help. It didn't come completely off her face at that point, but since she was awake presumably for the next several hours, she could have pulled it all the way off. See more »
