The best show i have seen in a very long while
lynx-0805027 September 2022
This is by far the best show i have seen in a long time, it has a perfect humor and short easy to follow episodes, i love the concept of this series, even tho the show is made by a smal company funded through kickstarter i would say quality wise it is at the same level as huge netflix or HBO shows, Its pacing and balance between jokes and actual story is perfect, its fast enough so with a short attention span you dont get bored fast but also not too fast that it gets hard to watch. It defenitly deserves a lot more attention, everyone should definitely give it a try because i am sure almost everyone can enjoy some light hearted comedy!

Shipwrecked Comedy have outdone themselves
ilovecarygrant7 November 2022
This show ended a week ago and I don't know if I'll ever get over it. I was hooked from the first episode, but it just kept getting progressively better, and the finale is truly mind-blowing. I've been a fan of Shipwrecked Comedy for years and I love everything they do, so I knew I was going to love this too, but I was still unprepared for just how high quality every aspect of the show would be. The acting, the writing, and overall production quality put many actual TV shows to shame, and this is an independent YouTube project made with $200k from Kickstarter. I can't even begin to imagine what these brilliant artists could do with a million dollars. I truly hope they get the chance to show us one day. But rewatching Headless is more than enough to tide me over until then.

Better every time you re-watch it

Amazing! The thought that clearly went into this is I'll say it again Amazing!! And it's a show you can watch over and over again, and even better when you do you will notice all the hints about future events you didn't notice or just thought nothing of the first time around. The characters are all so interesting in their own ways and you can't help but become invested in their lives, you will want to immediately watch the whole series after watching the first episode (and lucky you, you don't have to wait a week they are all available at once!) I'm pretty sure every episode it got better and better.

Heart wrenching and hilarious

Based on Shipwrecked Comedy's past projects like Poe Party and Gilded Lily, I was expecting Headless to be a witty show packed with oddball characters and joke rich scenes. This time the Persaud sibling writing duo surpassed themselves in humor and in crafting complex emotional arcs for their characters. I definitely did not foresee some of the relationships that would develop or the choices certain characters would have to make. The last episode zigzagged between tragedy and optimism. The themes of building friendships, relying on community, and moving forward through grief were beautifully developed throughout the show.

Some favorite performances: Jimmy Wong as Max Lee, Sinead Persaud as Mathilda Bishop, Gabe Greenspan (a legend!) as Brom Bones, Sarah Grace Hart as Lucretia Lazenby (a BAMF, please excuse me, God Bless America), John Rubenstein (!) as Baltus Van Tassel (loved his take on the character, especially knowing he was not the original actor cast in the role, now I can't imagine another option), Krystina Arielle as Judy, The Babes.

I can't stop thinking about it! I would love a season 2.

Atmospheric, spooky, and still laugh your head off funny

This show surpasses any webseries expectations you may have. Exceptionally well-paced, with pitch perfect performances, clever yet silly jokes, and a plot that unfolds neatly but without ever feeling hindered unnecessarily. Featuring an eclectic set of guest stars brought about by the series' central conceit of the Headless Horseman being able to wear different heads each episode in order to attempt aid Ichabod Crane in his (mis)adventures as a newcomer to Sleepy Hollow, the show is fresh and new in each episode. Yet, nothing feels shaky or out of place, a testament to series creators, writers, costars, and siblings Sean and Sinead Persaud's writing talents as well as their crew. Despite covering various styles of comedy, and even drama in some cases, all the episodes feel like a greater part of a wacky whole that, somehow, still keeps its feet on the ground. Much of this can be attributed to Sean Persaud's excellent straight man/fish out of water central performance, accompanied by Gabe Greenspan's hilariously over the top performance as Ichabod's frenemy Brom Bones. The pairing manages to span (ha) the wide range of humor the show explores seamlessly. Bravo to them. Also special shoutout to the cinematography and set design crews. The show looks exceptionally professional in both respects. Were the episodes longer in general this could be a series on TNT, SyFy, or any other network or streaming service. Highly recommended for the light spooky comedy audience.
