Homer says he based Angry Dad's voice, in part, on Walter Matthau. Dan Castellaneta did in fact base Homer's voice on Walter Matthau in the first season.

Goofs:

Anachronisms: The song playing in the background of the 1999 flashback is the studio version of "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC which was released in early 2000.

Brilliant episode,kinda like a sequel to I Am Furious (Yellow),and thats one of my favourites,

Angry Dad:The Movie is a brilliant Simpsons episode,with a load of terrific jokes,animated shorts and guest stars.Guest stars include comedian Ricky gervais once again,Russel Brand,creator of Wallace And Gromit Nick Park and Halle Barry.This episode also features a load of good Hollywood references including,Mixars short Conditments and their song You Got An Enemy,Willice And Crumbles short copying Wallace And Gromit and Nick Park saying that he is more clay than man.

Bart is asked to do a film for his cartoon Angry Dad,but nobody enjoys it so Bart takes all the stuff that did work and make it into a short film.The short film becomes a hit and gets nominated for a ton of awards,but Homer starts to take all the credit when they keep winning so Bart decides to pretend to Bart that they weren't nominated for an Oscar.
