"Britney/Brittany" was another "Glee" episode that was entertainingly all over the place
22 October 2010 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

In this episode of "Glee": John Stamos makes his first appearance as Emma's new boyfriend, Carl, a dentist. Finn and Rachel struggle with their relationship. And everyone in the glee club seems Britney Spears-crazy...This was another over-the-top ep of "Glee" that was both hilarious and a little cringe-worthy at the same time but, as usual, the musical numbers were often entertaining enough to make things go down easier. The funniest lines, as always, came from Sue Sylvester and Brittany S. Piece especially when the latter compared herself to Britney Spears in pronunciation of their names. I also was LOL when Rachel mentioned her previous incarnation as Sandy at the end of Grease in comparing herself when dressed as Britney from the "Hit Me Baby, One More Time" video. Only two more episodes to watch before next Tuesday's Rocky Horror tribute premieres...
