Storyline

Bobby can play at his dream links if he turns up early, so Travis decides his canine counterpart isn't enough waking up help. Jules waives Ellie's claim minding a baby is much harder over 40, even with a nanny, thus gets stuck babysitting Stan but shamelessly dumps the work on Grayson, who proves surprisingly, even scarily paternally. Laurie fears she lost her man-eater instinct after Smith, but with Andi as wingman finds the right man in a once a year nightclub. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

To spoof the title which no longer matches the content of the series, in the second season the producers started adding self-deprecating jokes to the show's title card. The one for this episode reads: welcome to (scratched out) ["Cul-De-Sac Crew"] ["Cougar City"] "Cougar Town" (sticking with it). See more »

The One Where Jules And Grayson Babysit...
13 June 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I really enjoy this episode. It's funny and I love the element of Jules and Grayson babysitting Stan.

In this episode, Ellie tries to say that having a child in your forties is harder than in your twenties, and Jules says the opposite. So to prove the other wrong, Jules and Grayson babysit Ellie's baby, Stan. And it has hilarious results. Meanwhile, Bobby tries to get up early so he can play on the golf course for free, but it having a very rough time making it happen. And Andy becomes Laurie's wingman so she can get over Smith.

Best part of the episode: When Ellie shows Jules and Grayson the goldfish trick.

Worst part of the episode: Travis.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
