Playback presents the bitter truth of ruined family relations in a disregard retrospective by the father played by Rob Terrell.
But, the movie is more than just that; the movie is about the effects of such relationships towards its victims.
I've never heard of actress Tiffany Bowyer before but, her debut here in Playback in such a challenging and bold role provides both the delusion and the reality of its aftermath.
Her character, Stephanie is aware of her situation and her fate thus taking control of her own life through strength and reverence.
However, sad of its outcome for Stephanie, justice is finally served in a poignant and quiet rhythm.
Plus, seeing James Duval in the buff doesn't hurt either.
I highly recommend this movie!
