Trivia

When Castiel is surveying the aftermath in the diner in which Eve is killed and Crowley appears, the song that begins playing on the jukebox is "Miracles" by Jefferson Starship. Earlier Dean dubbed the monsters that Eve had perfected "Jefferson Starships" because "they're horrible and hard to kill." The lyrics to the chorus of Jefferson Starship's "Miracles" have some interesting correlations to Castiel's growing struggles with his faith in God and uncertainty in his decisions. See more »

Quotes

Castiel: I'll search the town. Give me a moment.
[Cass doesn't disappear]
Dean Winchester: Cass, we can still see you.
Castiel: Yeah, I'm still here.
Dean Winchester: Okay, well, you don't have to wait on us. You - Well, now it just looks like you're pooping.

All About Eve and Crowley

"Mommy Dearest" is another great episode of "Supernatural" with a joke with the Jefferson Starship band. The unexpected conclusion shows that Castiel has made a very strange association with an archenemy. My vote is eight.
