Storyline

Claire loves Halloween and is gearing up to spookify the Dunphy house for the trick or treaters. She gives each family member a role to play, but none of it goes quite right... Cameron can't shake a traumatic childhood experience and hates the holiday, Mitchell has had a terrible day at work, and Gloria is acting weird after Jay and Manny teased her about her accent. Comedy at it's absolute finest!
27 October 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Modern Family is the funniest show on TV right now, no doubt about it. Halloween, though, is extremely well written and acted, even for this show. It has great story lines, believable scenarios, and the performances are all top notch here. This is he prime example of why the show won the coveted Emmy in it's first season, and is still going strong. Sofia Vergara especially has been incredible so far this season, and expect her to win the Emmy next year for Supporting Actress. All in all, this stands as the best episode of Modern Family to date, and the funniest as well. You can't do any better as far as comedies go, and consider yourself lucky Modern Family is here.
