Chris Jericho is out to start the show. Jericho says it slowly so all the slovenly parasites can understand. He says Randy Orton is on RAW, and that the World Title should be defended exclusively on Smackdown, a title that he brought to prominence. He bitches and moans about not having a rematch because Teddy Long is incompetent, and he needs to do two things. 1. hand in his resignation, and 2 make him face the winner of the Orton and Swagger match. Edge is out now. He says he finds himself agreeing with some of Jericho's points, the title does need to stay on Smackdown, and he does deserve a rematch, and he also deserves a swift kick to the cobblers. He says Chris is damaged goods, and that he isn't the one to beat Orton and Swagger, and that he is. Chris doesn't believe him and Edge says to let him prove it. That brings our esteemed general manager out Teddy Long. Teddy says he does not appreciate Chris hating on him. Chris says he wouldn't hate on the player if he did his job properly, and gave him what he deserves right now. Teddy says it's his lucky night, and that Chris will get his rematch. Chris smirks and says he finally did the right thing, and he says he'll beat Jack tonight and beat Orton at Extreme Rules, and since he beat Edge at Wrestlemania, he will make sure he never gets another title shot again. Teddy says Chris has no authority to do that, and that Edge will be inserted in making it a triple threat match. Well done segment. These two continue to do good work.

Drew McIntyre is out and starts to rip on the people basically. He says the people dislike him because he's handsome and he's the chosen one, and tells the fans not to worry because he does not like them either.

Drew McIntyre|C| Vs Kane. Honestly, how many times are we gonna see this match?. Boring as usual with these two, they have no chemistry what so ever. Drew wins by DQ after Matt Hardy tosses Drew back into the ring. Kane choke slams Drew and Matt Hardy for his troubles.

1 1/2 /5

Jack Swagger is back in Teddy's office, asking him who he thinks he is. Teddy says he is the GM of Friday Night Smackdown and as long as he is, he will have to deal with his rulings about Smackdown. What was the point of this?

1/5

Dolph Ziggler Vs R-Truth. Dolph says he is sorry for attacking Josh Matthews with a sleeper hold, but it's not a very convincing sounding one, while Matt Striker tries to defend Dolph. Pretty basic time filler here, and just to further the push of Dolph's sleeper. Dolph wins with his sleeper hold.

1 1/2 /5

Mickie James Vs Michelle McCool. Mickie's looking good! and she gets a big pop, she's always been over in London. One of the best diva matches I've seen in some time, it's actually very good!. I'm not a McCool fan, but she's a great worker, and Mickie was on the top of her game, creating many exciting moments. McCool wins with a big boot. Afterwords Flawless tries to decimate Mickie, but Beth comes in saving the day, and helping up Mickie in the process.

3/5

Gallows is backstage with NXT rookie Darren Young. Luke tells Darren not to cross him again, because he has no problem beating him to a pulp, and shave his head personally. Punk breaks it up and says we show it in the ring. Not bad, nice exposure for Darren.

2 1/2 /5

Straight Edge Society Vs Rey Mysterio&The Hart Dynasty. Nice pop for the faces. We are graced by the presence of The Miz for commentary, who is actually quite excellent!. Tremendously exciting 6 man tag here, which is why I loved wrestling so much in the 1st place. The Hart Dynasty are really clicking as faces, and all worked well together. Smith shows shades of his Father by winning for his team with The Running Power Slam.

3 1/2 /5

Caylen Croft Vs JTG. Pretty average match here, but not as bad as I expected, the two worked OK together. JTG hits a modified swinging neck breaker for the win. Afterwords Shad tries to beat up on his former partner some more and does for a bit, but JTG gets the last laugh by drop kicking him out of the ring. Don't care about the feud sadly.

2/5

World Heavyweight Championship.

Jack Swagger|C| Vs Edge Vs Chris Jericho. Definite contender for the best match of 2010 for sure, it's got everything you need for a great Triple Threat Match. I can't even count the times I was on the edge of my seat for some of the near falls. Swagger takes advantage of Edge's work and steals the victory, much to Striker's delight. Swagger gives Edge the Doctor Bomb, while Jericho works on Edge's injured leg, in between the post and steps.

4/5

Bottom line. Smackdown usually always delivers these days, and the people who find it boring ought to stick to the pointless Guest Host concept, maybe that's your true forte, real wrestling fans should give this show a look!.
