Continuity

It's nearing dawn when Dwight plumps his leather jacket into the '64 Pontiac trunk and saunters across a rain-soaked parking lot to the door of the all-night liquor store. As he enters, the door behind him is in bright daylight with no blue and red police lights reflecting. And when he emerges a bit later, the lot is dry.

In the final scene at the bar, Dwight is singing and the audience is rocking. A female extra sitting with another girl at a table at the foot of the stage to the right instantly reappears standing in front of Alfrie Woodard, and then back at the table again.

Factual errors

There are no all-night liquor stores in the State of Tennessee. In fact, no packaged liquor store may sell groceries and no grocery store may sell hard liquor or wine. Only beer and malt liquor can be sold at convenience stores.

There are a number of references to "Medicare" checks being stolen from the elderly lady. Medicare generally sends checks for drugs and services to doctors and hospitals and pharmacies. They must mean Social Security checks.
