Plot Summary

The already complicated relationship between Sofia and her mother will be severely tested when the latter moves into her home, suffering from Alzheimer's disease. She then begins a forced collocation with the one who has always behaved like a cold and distant mother. As this cohabitation progresses, her mother's sometimes delusional comments will make her aware of her condition. So, she decides to bring the old woman back in the footsteps of her youth: Not far from Riga, the city where she lived carefree years of happiness and love, despite the pain of the Second World War.
