Hockey Like You've Never Seen It

Hockey on acid?

Hockey in the year 5075?

Hockey through a kaleidescope?

Who knows? This is simply the sights and sounds of no hockey match you've ever seen....a wild collage of sounds and colorful images. Most of the sounds are muted, and it adds to the intrigue.

It's hard to explain this animated short from Iriz Paabo, except that's big-time "eye-candy," a wild five minutes and one I enjoyed. Naturally, it's listed under the "Visual" section in this

DVD titled "Animation Express" which is available in regular and Blu-Ray discs and is a compilation of animation short subjects by the Film Board Of Canada. This is one of those shorts that is definitely best seen on a Blu-Ray disc.
