"My family is my priority, and my work fits in and around that," Lively told The Insider on the red carpet. "I've [been] fortunate to have a job I can take my family with me and I can tailor to that, but I hope that my girls always feel what a priority they are, and see that they can be professional, strong, powerful women and they can also be mothers, wives and daughters."

"You don't have to compromise one for the other," she added.

Logan Director James Mangold Finds His Next Project In The Force

16 March 2017 4:41 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Given how successful Logan has turned out to be, both at the box office and with critics, one would assume that director James Mangold has his pick of projects when it comes to what he’ll do next. And while he has expressed interest in possibly making an X-23 film at some point down the road, it seems like he’ll be taking a break from the world of mutants for a while to bring us an adaptation of Don Winslow’s upcoming novel, The Force.

20the Century Fox acquired the rights last year and Mangold will help them develop the project in addition to getting behind the camera to direct. No writer has been chosen yet to bring the story to life on the big screen, but whoever the studio drafts in will be working closely alongside the Logan helmer to deliver what sounds like a very exciting movie. »

Logan” director James Mangold is in negotiations with Fox to develop and direct an adaptation of Don Winslow’s upcoming novel “The Force” about corrupt NYPD officers.

The talks with Mangold are taking place six months after Fox bought the movie rights to the crime thriller and set it up with Ridley Scott to produce through his Fox-based Scott Free company.

Fox’s sister company HarperCollins Publishers’ imprint William Morrow will release the new novel in June, which centers on a corrupt sergeant at the NYPD’s most elite crime-fighting unit who must choose between his family, his partners, and his life. Michael Schaefer and Shane Salerno are producing with Scott.
