Storyline

On a mission in Paris, Archer's situational awareness and amazing driving skills are enough to locate enemy agent Kasparov. But, the constant bickering between the ISIS Bendersons figuratively invites Barry Dylan of ODIN to claim the capture AND the bounty. He tosses a business card to Lana; Archer grabs it and threatens to go work for ODIN. Archer bonds with mudak Len Trexler; Lana packs for Paris for her own ODIN interview. Absinthe-soaked Malory plays with matches as clingy Cyril tags along with Lana. Barry finds Archer deep in HR matters and is happy when Trexler orders some housecleaning. As Archer reeks, Lana makes life-changing decisions about jobs, Paris, black flags, curtsying and Archer. He and Lana find Cyril deep in the same HR matter that previously occupied Archer. (Allo!) How would flensed, flaming Woodhouse PJs look? Always a good sport, Archer offers Lana the chance for revenge HR. Lana goes ahead and pouts. Written by LA-Lawyer

The Job's the Thing
30 October 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Archer feels he is being mistreated by his mother. Lana wants more money. So the two of them take off. Mallory freezes Archer's bank accounts. They go rogue and try to get jobs with their worst enemies, ODIN. These guys pay well. Archer has a history with one of them and so there is tension. Anyway, it's the usual give and take between Lana and Archer, ignoring the job. Meanwhile, Momma is beside herself when she thinks her son has been killed. Cyril finds himself in another setting, liking what is new to him. The byplay isn't as clever in this episode. However, Archer's ability to dive into pools of selfishness at a moment's notice makes this worth seeing.
