Storyline

Ryan can barely save Calleigh from burning in a house were arson is suspected. Owner Henry Dawson refuses to consider his teenage grandson torched it, although the scamp had turpentine, an accelerator, on his extra-crisp hands. Soon the suspects list extends to a nasty neighbor and dodgy renovation contractors. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

When Ryan tests the sprinkler head, the fusible element (the small red piece) is already missing. Sprinklers turn on when this piece melts and then applies water to only the areas where it is hot enough. This sprinkler would have gone off as soon as the water supply was turned on. See more »

Worst episode ever.
21 April 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Worst episode of CSI:Miami ever. Worst written, worst edited, worst acted.

I got the distinct impression that the script for this episode was submitted by a fan or a contest winner. The actors seemed genuinely uncomfortable with the shear "lameness" of some of the lines, but they did the best they could with it (my "worst acted" comment notwithstanding).

I mean a ghost...REALLY???

I genuinely love the entire CSI franchise but this episode was painful.

I hope that wasn't a shark being jumped I saw...
