Goofs

In the closing scenes, detective Mac Taylor comes into the lounge room and finds detective Bonasera sleeping. When he reaches down to pick up the letter lying beside her, the digital clock in the background reads 10:36. It then changes to 10:37 in the subsequent scene. Stella Proving Her Point
4 June 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode was bit off the normal CSI-NY, being more of soap opera than anything else. Throughout the show, we "see" dead person "Marina Garito" explain things and give her emotions of a lifetime of allegedly trying to find her missing brother. I say "allegedly" because there is a big twist in here late.

Stella knew this woman because she had come to her for help about her missing brother and had relentlessly pursued the case and kept Stella informed on a weekly basis for a long, long time.

Thus, when "Garito" is found dead and the victim of am apparent suicide, Stella doesn't believe, even if medical examiner Sid is sincere and thorough in his autopsy. From that point, it's up to Stella and the CSI team to see if the young woman was murdered.

All in all, "okay," but not one of the better episodes.
