Fantastic episode of Snackdown, it proves why it's WWE's True A show in my opinion

Rey Mysterio is out to a deafening pop. Rey says he has had no peace since last week's occurrences. Every time he closes his eyes he can see his daughter Aaliyah crying, he sees his wife and son looking at him, and this is because of CM Punk. Rey says he's climbed a lot of mountains in his career, but CM Punk crosses a line that should never have been crossed. He says it goes way beyond brain washing his so-called Straight Edge Society, and his sea of lies. He says he accepts Punk's challenge for Mania, but he wants it to be a street fight, and wants Punk to learn to never mess with another man's family. CM Punk is out, and says Rey is a little emotional, so he'll stay where he is. He says he understands how Rey feels because he showed the WWE Universe he's a coward. He says he knows Rey's heart is broken and filled with rage, but it's no way to solve any of his problems. Rey says he doesn't understand why he shouldn't just walk up that ramp and give him another beating. Punk says if he lays a finger on him, the Wrestlemania match is off. Punk says Rey has so much potential underneath that mask, and wishes he would see the Straight Edge inside himself. He says it's been a wild ride for Rey, but he doesn't have to close his eyes, he has pictures of the momentous occasion. Punk says he can save Rey, and he's better than Rey because he's straight edge, and he can make Rey better as a father. Rey says Punk has lost it, and if he does not accept the Street Fight, he'll have to deal with him fighting him every day of his life. He says if Rey can beat Gallows tonight, he gets his street fight, but if Gallows wins, Rey will be forced to join the straight edge society, Rey tells him may god have mercy on your soul. Incredible segment once again, these two are creating magic!.

5/5

MVP and Matt Hardy Vs Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Funny how WWE neglects to mention the hatred past of MVP and Matt, and just that they were Tag Team Champions. Below average match up, way too short for its own good, it only seemed to be their to fill time. Heels win. Afterwards Ziggler climbs the ladder and grabs the briefcase. Doubt he'll win, but it was a cool sight.

Drew walks into Teddy's office, and Teddy is impressed that Drew is still technically undefeated. Teddy says he was thinking of undefeated streaks, one's that are 17-0. Teddy says Vince wouldn't want this, but Vince isn't here tonight all he got was voice mail, so the match is on. Effective segment.

2 1/2 /5

Tiffany&Beth Phoenix Vs LaylaCool. Pretty good for a diva match actually, Beth was on the top of her game, and Tiff is improving drastically. Beth's team wins with the Glamslam. Vickie demands an apology from Beth, after giving one Vickie decides it isn't good enough, and she will face Vickie in a match next week. Gee I wonder how that will turn out-rolls eyes.

Cutting Edge has arrived, and Edge is out to a nice welcome. Out comes Jericho with his NXT rookie Wade Barrett. Edge hilariously says the two look like they are ready to go to prom together. Edge says it's a game of chess between the two master manipulator's, and who's going to make the next move. He says Chris nailed him with the belt, but Edge got him back on Raw, and says he always moves a few ahead, and plans on getting the last one, and that will be at Wrestlemania. Jericho says Edge is wrong, and finally the ultimate opportunist has made the biggest mistake. He says he boils it down to one move The Spear, and that he is the best in the world at what he does, and asks if he can live up to all the parasites at Wrestlemania. He says 70,000 fans chanting spear isn't gonna help him, and that he saw his Achilles tendon tear was an accident, he asks Edge what he would do if it was on purpose. Edge asks Chris if he thinks he came back too soon, and if he wants to hurt him? Edge says he may very well have, and asks Chris to go for his checkmate. Edge hits Jericho with a Mic and goes after Barrett. Edge throws Jericho out of the ring, and spears Barrett, but runs right into a Codebreaker. Jericho stomps on his Achilles heel, and says spear. Brilliant segment, they have managed to capitalize on its immense potential now.

5/5

Morrison&R-Truth Vs The Hart Dynasty. Complete squash here, furthering the burial of The Dynasty. Faces win.

0/5

Rey Mysterio Vs Gallows. Very effective match here, like they had a few weeks ago. Great storytelling and chemistry between the two. Gallows wins due to SES interference. Rey goes ape sh*t on Gallows afterwords.

3/5

The Undertaker Vs Drew McIntyre. Total squash here, kinda fishy since management is high on Drew. Taker wins with a tombstone. Afterwords HBK goes for a super kick like last year, but Taker is ready for it. Chokesla....SWEET CHIN MUSIC!. HBK Mocks Taker's pose on the ramp he does, and does the crotch chop. Match was bad, but the stuff afterward was great if a little simple.

3/5

Bottom line. Smackdown continues to bring its A-Game every week, getting better and better. Raw should learn from this show, and learn well. A must see for Wrestling fanatics.

9/10
