Storyline
Hours after filthy rich comedian and TV show star Bobby Mann asked Castle, one of his guests, for help claiming to fear for his life, he dies from cardiac arrest. Castle insists on an autopsy, which shows a crafty poisoning requiring knowledge of Bobby's medication. The night before, he had visited two of his ex wives, Cindy and Barbara, who have apartments in the same building, and later, he saw his future successor as show host. He was also blackmailed with pictures of him and an apprentice, but by whom? Castle enjoys a hot affair with actress Ellie Monroe, who wants Nicky's part in the upcoming Heat wave movie. More studio politics increase the suspects lists, while alibis are checked. Written by
