The Thai version by far deviates the most from the uncensored version. This is not only due to the amount of censorship but many scenes were completely re-cut. Added to that are several strange warnings, that for example shown when one of the characters smokes a cigarette and other pleasantries that one normally only expects from the US. Harmless and irrelevant alternative footage, additional scene in the shorter version, changes in running-speed and even a blur effect that is related to censorship.
The censorship already begins with the title. Originally, the movie was planned to be titled "Human Meat Noodles" but was changed at the urging of the censors. Furthermore, the Thai version contains some material that was cut out from the uncensored version. Therefore, the total difference in running-time is misleading. There are about 5 minutes of exclusive footage in the Thai version. A detailed comparison between the Thai DVD and the British DVD with pictures can be found here.In Taiwan the movie was released censored as well. This version is pretty close to the uncut version because only one minute of footage has been cut and these cuts are definitely just cuts in the sense of violence and the censoring really tempers the delight of watching the movie. The cuts were made roughly, this can be seen because some frames in the harmless scenes afterwards are also chopped away. Sound cuts can often be heard as well. Again a detailed comparison with the uncensored version can be seen here.
