Storyline

When a reporter is found dead, the team investigates and Cragen upon seeing the body sees something that makes him think she was killed by a serial killer who was active 30 years ago. They eventually find the man and when confronted he says it's not him because one of the victims he couldn't have killed. They check it out and while he killed the others the one he claims he didn't kill was made to look like he killed her. So they re investigate and learn the woman was married to a celebrity businessman who's a womanizer. They think they should focus on him but he's dead. They talk to a patrol cop who worked the original case. And they talk to all the women the man was with and none of them stand out. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Ann-Margret's performance stole the show
24 April 2014 | by (Kigali, Rwanda) – See all my reviews

This episode had a particularly excellent cast of guest stars. Three in particular stood out for me - Jaclyn Smith, William Atherton, and Ann-Margret - however, Ann-Margret's performance stole the show! As in most similar shows, the killer becomes pretty obvious once they are introduced – but in this case, it was quite enjoyable to watch the discovery play out. It seemed much longer than most episodes, but I realised that that was because of the engaging characters that made the scenes bigger.

I'm not a huge fan of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - I only watch it on occasion but I must say, I am really glad I watched this one!
