I was inspired to write the following after watching this DVD: And so an Angel of the Lord appeared at Bill Maher's Beverly Hill's mansion late last night and after slipping by security, knocked loudly on his front door. When Bill opened the door, the Angel instantly disguised himself as George Burns and immediately said "I got good news and I got bad news. The good news is that there is a God and a Heaven and we got a Comedy Club there too." After Bill paused momentarily to choke on a thick cloud of El Producto cigar smoke, he reluctantly asked "So what's the bad news?" The Angel replied "You're opening for Johnny Carson tomorrow night." Final Thoughts: I got nothing against jokes about religion. But religion is religion and God is God. The two are not the same. Perhaps one should consider not joking about things he does not yet have the capacity to fully understand such as the unfathomably-deep spiritually-intense eternally-intriguing mysteries of God.
