Ron James, a Canadian comedian, moved to Los Angeles to try his luck at getting a role in a sitcom. He spent a few years there, but was unsuccessful in his quest. However, he turned his experience into this stand-up comedy show: his view of what happened and didn't happen to him, as only a Maritimer could tell it. He remembers everything from the impressions of LA on a Canadian Bluenoser, to his relatives' perceptions of and comments on his living in Lotus Land. All become fodder for his humour (yes, that's humor with an extra 'u'). It's a hilarious show that led to James having annual stand-up comedy shows on a Canadian TV network. If you get the chance to see this one, take it!
