‘Jane the Virgin’ Adds Recurring Character in Four-Episode Arc

Jane the Virgin” has set actress Rachel Dipillo in a recurring arc this season, Variety has learned.

Dipillo, whose credits include “Mad Men,” “Revenge,” “The Gates” and “Bones,” will play Andi, a girl that Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) meets in her writers’ program. She’ll debut in episode 16 of this season, appearing in four consecutive episodes with the possibility of more.

Jane the Virgin” has been renewed for Season 2, and airs Mondays on the CW.

Dipillo is repped by Wendi Green and Jennifer Millar at Paradigm, Tina Treadwell of Treadwell Entertainment Group and Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox Rosenberg & Light.
