NBC has announced some of the pilots that it will not be ordering to series this fall -- releasing actors and writers from their contracts. This doesn't mean that those not listed here will definitely be picked up; it simply means that they're still in contention for the (many) open spots in NBC's fall lineup.

Not Going To Series:

"Joe, Joe and Jane": A multi-cam sitcom centered on an author, Joe (Will Greenberg) who is torn between his clingy wife Jane (Sally Pressman) and his best friend and writing partner, Joe (Dave Annable). The series, from "The Office" and "Just Shoot Me" writers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, also starred Larry Wilmore,

"Drop Off" (aka The Gates): Described as "an adult ensemble comedy set at the front gates of an elementary school drop-off," the show revolved around the parents and school staff, and their "social minefield" when picking »

The Last Exorcism wasn’t really the last one since The Last Exorcism 2 hits theaters on March 1st. We chatted with series star Ashley Bell, who reprises her role as Nell, the sheltered, innocent girl who is possessed by the devil. She is a very warm actress, so it is no surprise that the devil would want to set up shop in her. Ashely talked to us about her love of horror, the confusing title, and those Doc Martens.

First, I have to ask about the contradictory title. Wouldn’t this make the first film The Second-to-Last Exorcism?

I know! I would agree with you in most circumstances, but there is never a last exorcism for the devil. For the first one, it was Cotton Marcus’s last exorcism, but the devil continues.
