In just nine days we'll be thrust right into 2015, beginning a new year of stories on the big screen. But since we've still got Christmas to celebrate and New Year's Eve on the horizon, we're not done looking back at 2014 yet. We've still got a few more year-end lists looking at some of the best offerings in cinema this year, but today we have another one of those fun retrospective videos remembering all the films we saw in 2014. This time it's Miguel Branco chiming in with Cinefile 2014 with a wide range of  hundreds of films from Edge of Tomorrow to Begin Again and everything in between. It's another great montage of 2014 in movies. Kate Upton Spotted Makeup-Free at Airport—See the Fresh-Faced Beauty for Yourself!

18 December 2014 11:27 AM, PST | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Whether she's rushing through an airport terminal at the crack of dawn, or strutting her stuff on the runway, Kate Upton's good looks can't be denied. The buxom blonde was seen making her way through John F. Kennedy airport in New York City earlier today and managed to look calm, cool and collected after a long flight. The 22-year-old Michigan native made sure to stay warm in the chilly Big Apple weather by covering up with a black poncho-like jacket over her grey sweater. And with her hair pulled away from her famous face, Upton was quickly recognized inside the airport. With Christmas and New Year's Eve just around the corner, it seems that Upton wanted to rush home to be with her »

18 December 2014 6:56 AM, PST | Rollingstone.com | See recent Rolling Stone news »

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga recently waltzed through The Tonight Show, where they performed a swinging set of standards, "Cheek to Cheek" and "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," off their recent duets album, Cheek to Cheek.

After Gaga, who looked both glitzy and glittery, opened "Cheek to Cheek" like a love-lorn ballad, she and Bennett, who remained dapper and stoic during the performance, kicked up the Irving Berlin classic, trading lines before belting the last few verses together in harmony. "It Don't Mean a »

See Alan Carr looking specstacular as Gemma Collins and Cheryl

17 December 2014 3:50 AM, PST | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Alan Carr impersonates the likes of Gemma Collins and Cheryl in this year's New Year Specstacular.

In a sketch for the New Year's Eve show, Carr parodies 24 Hours in Police Custody and takes us into the celebrity slammer, where Cheryl is trying to talk her way out of a charge for miming on The X Factor.

Next into custody is Gemma Collins, who after 56 seconds behind bars is already at breaking point.

The madness of prison gets to the star as she starts confessing to a range of odd crimes, including her love for Made in Chelsea.

Carr, as Collins, says: "Oh it's doing me 'ead in, I'll confess to anyfink - I've just got to get out... I hid Arg... I killed Lucy Beale... I prefer Made in Chelsea, anything babes... I'm just so hungry... I can't fink when I'm hungry."

Valentine's Day. New Year's Eve. Christmas, via Love Actually. Plenty of cold-weather holidays have inspired lighthearted ensemble rom-coms featuring intertwining stories and scads of celebrities. So why not the Jewish Festival of Lights? That's where we come in. This year, EW decided to celebrate Hanukkah (which begins tonight at sundown) by imagining our ideal Hanukkah movie—starring a boatload of Jewish celebrities (appearing under their real names!) and directed, of course, by Garry Marshall. Click below to see our movie's im-poster, designed as always by Jef Castro—and to learn which boldface names Hillary Busis and Esther Zuckerman decided to pair up in the film. »

15 December 2014 11:52 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

If you love dressing up in thematic attire, then Christmastime is the time of year you've been waiting for all year. It's like your birthday, Christmas, New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's Day, and the Fourth of July combined!

If you feel this way, you probably decorate like it's the last holiday ever and you find ways to incorporate Christmas garb into your daily wardrobe once Thanksgiving is over (but probably even sooner!).

News: Flashback: Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' Turns 20!

To clarify: No, we are not the Grinch, and dressing up can be a fun way to help you get into the holiday spirit. But this season it seems there is an overload of holiday-related attire that is, quite frankly, obnoxious.

To warn you from becoming one of "those people," we've come up with a list of 14 items that you can buy this season but probably shouldn't.

Miley Cyrus has invited Kate Moss and her 12-year-old daughter to her New Year's Eve party. The 22-year-old singer is set to throw an extravagant bash to see in 2015 and is hoping that by asking the supermodel's child Lila Grace it will convince the blonde stunner to choose her Los Angeles-based event over Sir Mick Jagger's new year spectacle in the Caribbean, which she is also said to have been invited to. A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Kate's promised she'll try and juggle her commitments. She knows Lila would love to spend new year partying at Miley Cyrus' house.'' Miley's huge bash will be held at her home in La but Kate could be tempted by the equally as warm temperatures in the Mustique, where Mick is holding his party at his villa. It's one of the fiercest battles of the holidays - and no it's not the Grinch vs. Santa Claus. We're talking about the New Year's Eve Ball drop versus the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting. Both have the glitz: one is a sparking ball covered by thousands of Waterford Crystal triangles, the other is an 85-ft. Norway spruce covered in 45,000 Led lights. (That's a whole lot of shine!) What's more, each pull in major star power: This year's tree lighting ceremony, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, boasts an impressive lineup including Rockefeller regular Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga (who was all about the Ball in 2012) and Tony Bennett. »

1960's The Passionate Thief, a Prototypical 'One Crazy Night' Adventure

2 December 2014 9:00 PM, PST | Village Voice | See recent Village Voice news »

On the surface, Mario Monicelli's 1960 comedy The Passionate Thief bears similarities to contemporary entries in the one-crazy-night genre. There is a limited-timeframe narrative (one night), a uniting event (New Year's Eve), an episodic structure, and, naturally, lovelorn characters looking to make a connection. Yet what separates The Passionate Thief from its descendants is the sympathy it brings to its central characters, Tortorella (Anna Magnani), a movie extra, and Lello (Ben Gazzara), a thief. Through a circuitous turn of events, Tortorella is ditched by her friends on New Year's Eve in Rome, which means she'll spend the evening with a backup, her old friend Umberto (Totò), an actor and sometime con artist. The problem is, Umberto — unb »

Tease the season to be jolly and Seth MacFarlane is getting in on the holiday fun.

A follow-up to Music Is Better Than Words, his Grammy-nominated 2011 debut album, Holiday for Swing! is MacFarlane's first Christmas-themed album. And if you had any doubt that the man who brought us Family Guy and Ted couldn't turn out a legitimate record for the holiday season, guess again. Et recently caught up with the crooner and uncovered five things you'd be surprised to know about the album.

@SethMacFarlane's "Holiday For Swing!" arranged and conducted by @joelsephmc just in time for Xmas decorating. pic.twitter.com/xCxk5ZNh86

Why Christmas music?

The 41-year-old admits he's not particularly religious but says a holiday-themed album was a no-brainer. "For this kind of music in 2014, a Christmas album is the most logical fit," he says. "Anything to get in on the jackpot that is Christmas time commercialization."
