Not bad, not bad at all.

This episode of smack down, featured the anticipated return, of one of my personal favorite superstars, Edge. The buildup was pretty good, and it had a couple of good matches.

Chris Jericho comes out, to a lot of heat. He talks about how Edge robbed him, of how hard he worked for months, to be in the main event. He claims Edge does not deserve it, and that he was carrying the company, and all the fans talk about is Edge. Jericho feels he is too good for The Elimination Chamber, and demands Teddy makes it right. Teddy does not come out, so Chris takes it upon himself, to take it to him. Edge is at Teddy's desk. Edge says Jericho is the reason, he came back, and he's created a monster. Jericho says he can slay the beast. Very good stuff from both Jericho and Edge, and Jericho's promo, was top-notch.

Elimination Chamber Qualifiers. Drew Mcintyre. Vs John Morrison Vs R-Truth. OK match up, with some exciting spots, and Mcintyre seems to be improving each week. Morrison wins with the Starship Pane.

2 1/2 /5

R-Truth Vs Mike Knox. Too short to matter, and I don't really care for either, though Killings does have potential.

Exclusive Raw Footage, Not Seen On Smackdown. This was pretty well done, with a brutal Batista bomb on the steel steps. Batista's heel run suits him.

CM Punk Vs Batista. Punk cuts his usual straight edge type crap, he's a good heel, but he often bores me. More for storytelling, then anything else. Punk wins by a count out. He acts like He's won the world series.

Chris Jericho Vs Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy and Maria have a rather pointless Convo. Very good, probably the 2nd best of the night. Jericho and Matt work well together. Jericho wins, with The Codebreaker.

Rey Mysterio Vs Dolph Ziggler I'm not a fan of Rey's, but these two sure no how to put on a show. Ziggler is terribly underutilized, but there matches, are usually top-notch. Rey advances

3 1/2 /5

Beth Pheonix&Mickie James Vs Michelle McCool&Layla. Mickie gets a great pop, while looking smoking hot, per usual. She cuts a pretty good promo, about standing up for woman's rights, and never give up, or to let people bring you down. Beth interrupts, and tells her she'll be taking the title, soon enough. As far as woman's matches go, better than most. Beth's obvious eventual face turn, will happen sooner or later. Unlike many ignorant people, I support Mickie, and hope she has a successful reign. Beth turns on Mickie, but Mickie ends up prevailing anyway.

1 1/2 /5

Cutting Edge segment. Edge gets a decent return pop, but like Raw, fans aren't sure what to make of him, hopefully that will change in time. Edge says it feels great to be back, and it was all worth it for this very moment. Edge proudly displays his beating of Sheamus, much to the delight of the crowd. Jericho interrupts, and refuses to let him bask in the glory, of his tainted victory. Edge says he's sick and tired of Jericho. CM Punk comes out, and makes an amusing comment, about Edge and Jericho being two pill popping junkies, who need their last fix. He brags about being the only person to make Taker tap out. Taker's out, and him and Edge clean house. Edge gets ready to spear him, but stops, and motions to the belt, around his waist. Solid stuff here. Triple threat is a possibility, with Edge Vs Jericho Vs Taker. or Edge Vs Jericho, either way, it looks like Edge is a fan favorite.

Bottom line. Smackdown is usually better than raw, and this proved why. Smackdown is WWE's true A Show, and while it has its stinkers, they usually end up delivering
