Did You Know?

In Blue Bloods: Shoot the Messenger (2014), during the family lunch is commented the Theory of Broken Windows. It's was introduced by first time on an article written by George L. Kelling and James Q. Wilson, published on March 1, 1982 on the newspapers The Atlantic Monthly, eventually turning in a criminology book written by George L. Kelling and Catherine Coles, published in 1996. This theory explains as a minor misdemeanors can derive in serious crimes making an analogy with a windows of any house that was broken and no one was arrested by it. If there are no detentions by this fact, eventually the others windows too should be broken, giving chance for more important crimes as throwing trash in it, breaking the furniture or burn the own house. Too unrealistic
21 April 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

There is no way the Danny could get away with being an aggressive, bullying jerk to everyone all the time without some type of consequences from the street. I watch the show and don't know why he hasn't been taken out by some smarter, more testosterone laden person. Be it a "thug" (race notwithstanding), businessman, politician, snitch, or witness, Danny has stepped enough toes to keep the investigative team busy for years in the pursuit of identifying who followed through on their motive.

The techniques of bullying, lying, setting up, and manipulating by the officers and legal team is too much and totally reflects the real life experiences of many. Sad...
