Musty Suffer is taking a nap in the middle of the road. A stranger loads him into a wheelbarrow, which breaks and sends him into a dream where he falls into the hands of Doctors Hickory and Nutt: specialists in imagination, who proceed to feed him meals which vanish, have him go to bed and wake him up a minute later, telling him he has slept twelve hours and taking him on sleigh rides on a block of ice.

The world of Musty Suffer is a filthy, violent very funny world that makes use of the same techniques that Melies had used a decade earlier, but to sadistic, hilarious effect. You'll laugh like mad, you'll cry in sympathy and you'll undergo decades of therapy before you get it out of your head.
