Amy Jellico returns to Riverside after rehabilitation at an ocean-side program in Hawaii. She's a new woman, intent on changing the world: during rehab, she swam near a sea turtle and had cosmic insights. In flashbacks, we see her lose it at work - a complete meltdown, yelling at her married boss in front of his supervisors, shouting details of their affair. She moves in with her wary and detached mother, visits her drug-using ex-husband Levi to urge him to see the possibilities of expanded consciousness, and wants her old employer to create a job making her responsible earth-friendly corporate policies. Is the new Amy enlightened, and is the old Amy lurking near the surface? Written by
