At the live event, the Insane Clown Posse squashed the Outcast Killaz (Oman Tortuga and Diablo Santiago). The crowd went back and forth between cheering and booing them, finally settling on a "Don't come back! Don't come back!" chant. Even though ICP had volunteered to work for free that night, ROH was so embarrassed by this that the match was left off of the home video release, though it later appeared on the ROH Uncensored Vol. 1 DVD. The match is not even listed on ROH's results page.
Samoa Joe (Joe Seanoa) made his Ring of Honor debut at this event as a hired gun for the Prophecy, led by "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. His match with Low Ki was the first ever Fight Without Honor. Low Ki won.
The James Maritato-Tony Mamaluke (Charles Spencer) match was for the "rights" to the FBI (Full-Blooded Italians) gimmick. Mamaluke won, which ended up meaning nothing as Maritato took the name and gimmick with him to WWE and the independents.
The Homicide (Nelson Erazo)/Steve Corino-Backseat Boyz (Trent Acid (Michael Verdi) and Johnny Kashmere (John Kashmer)) match was Corino's ROH in-ring debut, as he had previously been a commentator for the promotion. In classic Corino style, he bled during the match.
The Amazing Red (Jonathan Figueroa) broke Ikuto Hidaka's orbital bone when he landed on him with his Infrared move.
