Lucy Boynton, Nick Moran Join ‘Don’t Knock Twice’

London — Lucy Boynton (“Miss Potter,” “Ballet Shoes,” “Mo”) and Nick Moran (“Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” both “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” movies) will join Katee Sackhoff (“Oculus,” “Riddick,” “Battlestar Galactica”) in the supernatural horror film “Don’t Knock Twice,” which is being directed by Caradog James, and begins shooting this week in Cardiff, Wales.

“Don’t Knock Twice” follows a guilt-ridden mother (Sackhoff) who wants to reconnect with the daughter (Boynton) she was forced to place into care. To save her estranged daughter, she has to uncover the terrifying truth behind the urban legend of a vengeful, demonic witch.

James (“The Machine,” “Little White Lies”) is directing from a script by writing duo Mark Huckerby and Nick Ostler, whose credits include “Howl.”

The film is being produced by Red & Black Films’ John Giwa-Amu (“The Machine,” “The Call Up”) and Seymour Films’ Claire Moorsom.

Emmys 2015: 'Game of Thrones,' 'Mad Men,' 'Transparent' Nominated

Game of Thrones, Mad Men, House of Cards and Transparent are among the shows that received multiple nominations in major categories for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. Game of Thrones alone received 24 nominations. Better Call Saul, Louie, Homeland, Veep and Orange Is the New Black also got notable nods. The awards ceremony, which Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Andy Samberg will host, will be broadcast live on Fox on September 20th at 8 p.m. Est.

There were two awards for The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, with Jason Watkins receiving his career-first BAFTA in the hotly contested Leading Actor category. Opening on November 25, 2015 comes the new film Creed. The film explores a new chapter in the Rocky story and stars Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone in his iconic role and Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed.

Before you catch Creed this fall, B&B Theatres is hosting special Rocky Retro 2-Night event this May!

The first film Rocky will be playing this Thursday, May 7th followed the next week by Rocky II on Thursday, May 14Th!

Cilla writer Jeff Pope will receive this year's BAFTA TV Special Award

The writer of ITV's Cilla biopic will be honoured with this year's BAFTA TV Special Award.

Jeff Pope, whose other works include Mrs Biggs, Mo and Appropriate Adult, is receiving the accolade for his creative contribution to television.

The award was last presented in honour of Alan Clarke in 2009.

Pope said: "Alan Clarke was a hero of mine, and I am delighted to have been honoured with this award in his name.

"I have been lucky enough to work with some extraordinarily talented people, and this is a moment in my life to look back with gratitude to all those who have helped me achieve.

"Writing is all about facing down the tyranny of the blank screen, but my message to all aspiring writers is that once you've hit that first key, you discover it's really not so difficult as you'd imagined."
