Gabrielle And Katherine, 19 August 2014
Author: Intern2014 from United States

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Chromolume #7 is the seventeenth episode of the sixth season of Desperate Housewives. It has interesting story lines particularly for Gabrielle and Katherine.

Gabrielle and Angie goes to New York to look for Ana and Danny which leads to a chance meeting with supermodels such as Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova.Later, she discovers that Angie used to be a fashion model. She introduced her to Heidi Klum but she wants nothing to do with Gabrielle due to an incident way back when.Later, at a restaurant, Gabrielle runs into her old agent and Paulina Porizkova, and is shocked to find Paulina despises her as well due to Gaby acting like a spoiled brat on a photo shoot the two did together in Brazil.Funny!!!After the incident,Gabrielle decided to change for the better after going through self-introspection.On the plane ride back home, she also learns more about Angie's past.

As for Katherine, she remains unsure as to whether she is lesbian or not.She talks to her gay neighbors - Bob and Lee - about it.But after sleeping with Robin, she still blames more about being drunk rather than being one.Later,Robin arrives home and she disagrees that intoxication was the only thing that led them to sleep with each other as she felt that she had a connection with Katherine and kisses her after it.For it,Katherine agrees with the lovely Robin.

Meanwhile,Preston returns from Europe with a big and expensive surprise for Lynette and Tom.While Mike tries to show Susan how man he is after he begins to feel like he's emasculated. Finally, Bree makes a shocking discovery about her new employee,Sam.

I enjoyed the story of Gabrielle and Katherine. This made up for a somewhat average story lines of Susan,Lynette and Bree. Also,it was nice to see supermodels as guest stars. That definitely provided more glamor to the show. Finally,it was also great to learn more about Gabrielle's past of being a model and the lesbian territory being further explored in Katherine's character.
