Reclusive writer takes aspiring actress under his wing.
did i believe the characterization - yes - but only in the beginning. somewhere in this movie the director looses focus and the characters become corny.
the movie starts with a bang - the disenchanted script writer turned storage facility owner, the hooker 'actress wanna-be', the aspiring script writer employee, and the scurrilous receptionist, all draw you into this story. from the start you realize the reclusive storage owner has an emotional issue to deal with, and the hooker/actress is out of her league. together these two find a solid path to follow but go separately in different directions. the aspiring script writer and receptionist add a bit of humor to this often dark story.
i enjoyed this film until the end then the bottom just dropped out. it's as if the director lost his nerve.
watch it - it's very good. i just wish it ended differently.
