Storyline

David is well-liked, middle-aged, successful, gay, and lonely but not alone. At his annual weekend pool party, his actions reflect this developing mood as he invites only his three best gay pals - Paulo, Roger and Virgil (all of whom are much like David himself: fairly handsome and fit, intelligent, gay, middle-aged and unattached). As David's thoughts want to head in a particular direction, outsiders keep intruding on his intimate gathering (a freeloading neighbor, a sister needing a babysitter, an old peach grower, and a mother who'd like to see her son connected). The one outsider who seems to be taking his sweet time butting in is the pizza boy with their food order. Written by statmanjeff

Poor, very Poor
13 October 2015 | by (Brazil) – See all my reviews

A rather weak film. A bunch of friends stay by the pool making fun of each other, diving, waiting for a much delayed pizza, making some revelations. The film could difficultly be more simple or cheap. But the great problem is the actors, if they can be called so. Hardly delivering their lines, they simply don't convince. The less bad is Virgil (Jeffrey Patrick Olson). Besides being beautiful, he can somewhat act. A Previous Mr. Bodybuilder at gay games, he has some of the best lines, and some very astonishing news, given the milieu they live. Definitely a film you should not bother to see. Better to watch the weakest sitcom or soap opera on TV. They can give you more emotion than this flop.
