Takin' It to the Streets (#7.9)
20 March 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

In this episode the contestants team up in 2 and all teams go on the streets of the different NYC areas to get inspired for their day time and night time look.

I was surprised that apparently Jay didn't like Mila (just as Emilio), in this season I didn't notice any animosity. But I guess it is because they are very professional people who can put it behind and work together. Also big respect that they didn't try to throw each other under the bus. Good people.

Emilio kind of made me laugh with all his comments and the evil plant to get Jay and Mila work together.

I must say in this contest there was no outfit that I really disliked, it is just that some were more impressive. I absolutely loved the Harlem look. Glad both Emilio and Seth Aaron won, they deserved it. Anthony made me laugh as well with remembering that duck from Chinatown. I loved his dress. I actually liked what him and Maya did without making it look all Asian costumy.

I actually really liked Jonathan's dress and Jay's pants. Although the pants seemed to not have been completely finished. But a bit polishing up and I would be into it. Sad to see Amy go, her and Jonathan being friends was really sweet. Glad to see she did stick to fashion, at least based on what I saw online.
