Six months after $5,000,000 reconstruction funds are stolen in an Abu al-Jaleel's terrorist Jihad raiders front's bomb-assault in Bagdad, staff sergeant Chad Jeffcoat, a military customs inspector, whose SIM card was found in their HQ, is murdered at his LA home just before Cullen can question him. His trace leads to a trigger-happy gang of bank robbers, including his ex-con mailman, Damien Salerno, a multiple murder suspect. The others get killed in a shoot-out in their warehouse (where the lot is recovered) with Cullen and Sam, except wounded Mick Benelli, whom Kensi tails. Eric works out they were probably hired to 'recover' FBI-frozen terrorist funds, and their probable bank accomplice. A spectacular trap is set up, helped by Special Agent Mike Renko and his LAPD contact, detective Matt Bernhart. Written by
