Janette offers Creighton a Hubig's pie for dessert when he doesn't want Lemon Ice. The only Hubig's factory is located in New Orleans and was out of operation after Katrina hit the city at the end of August 2005 until early January 2006. The pies are baked fresh daily and have a shelf life of 7-12 days. Since this episode is set 3 months after Katrina it is exceedingly unlikely that Kim would still have a pie and if she did it would be far past the freshness/expiration date and not suitable to eat/serve to a customer.
