"Callum was right-miracles do happen"

Brett Tucker has definitely annoyed someone as Dan is turned into an irredeemable jerk that everyone is glad to see the back off.Libby continues to show why she really shouldn't be left in charge of children.Or anything.Steph exudes guilt so much you wonder why anyone hasn't noticed.Lucas ends up acting like a moron for a somewhat out of place cliffhanger, as though everyone forgot about the Christmas cheer and thought the finale was an episode early.

Disappointingly, there's no real follow-up to Declan and Kate's plot line from yesterday aside from Kate looking a bit glum.Sonya does her usual trick of popping up for an episode and pretending she's an important character;yet again, you're left thinking that she appears so infrequently they're bound to be writing her out.Harry's return is nice but confusing, it isn't clear if he's back for good or just for the day and it sounds like his foster mother just sent him out into the streets with his suitcases off her own bat.

Zeke has a Z-storyline about his VCE results which leads to a minor spat between him and Karl. But at least we've got some idea of what he might be doing next year which could be halfway interesting.
