Captain Marvel's Director Search Has Been Narrowed Down To These Three

8 hours ago | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

Lesli Link Glatter, Niki Caro, Lorene Scafaria

A few weeks back, it was confirmed that Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson was cast as Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel in the upcoming Marvel film...Captain Marvel. The film is still a solid three years away, so the studio has plenty of time between now and then, but the character is likely to show up in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, a good year or so before her own standalone film.

As such, it makes sense that Marvel Studios would be hard at work looking for someone to helm Captain Marvel. Given that Black Panther director Ryan Coogler had a hand in the introduction of the character in Captain America: Civil War so that the character would have consistency between films, it's a no-brainer that Marvel would want to do the same thing with Captain Marvel.

So who's up to direct Marvel's first female-led solo film? »

Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 9 Review: The Wrath of Kahn

23 August 2016 8:36 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Hanna may have learned fashion, but she also learned how to use a date rape drug in college.

We find this out all too well in Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 9, but maybe Hanna should stick to fashion. Hanna pulls out all the stops to take down Noel. But too bad she didn't think about Noel out smarting her.

Noel has hosted many parties Hanna, he knows a roofied drink when he sees one. I love Hanna, and of course her one-liners, but she needed the girls to take Noel down.

The one piece of evidence Spencer and Emily found is all Hanna needed to see exactly what they're up against. How sad was it watching Spencer re-live that traumatic experience? How far down the rabbit hole does Noel go in the dollhouse experiment?

Speaking of rabbit holes, Emily is going down one of her own. I really don't understand why Paige is still here. »

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: Hanna Goes Down a Dangerous Path

23 August 2016 12:21 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

In this episode of Pretty Little Liars, "The Wrath of Kahn," Hanna goes rogue, Spencer makes a startling discovery about the Dollhouse, Emily and Paige reconnect, and Noel Kahn seems more creepy and suspicious than ever. All of the stress has driven Hanna off the deep end, and it seems like her "plan" is leading nowhere good.

The episode is jam-packed with plot developments and romantic entanglements, but as the penultimate episode, it still has something of a "set-up" feel to it. "The Wrath of Kahn" is moving all the pieces on the chessboard to get ready for what looks to be a truly insane summer finale.

19 Times Twins Got Too Twisted for TV

23 August 2016 7:00 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Twisted twins and doppelgangers. Some engage in incest, others just have horrible, even life-threatening relationships.

For some reason, the shows with twins played by the same actor or actress, in this case Alexandra Chando of The Lying Game, or Sarah Michelle Gellar of Ringer, don't seem to last very long.

But these relationships are always so juicy and dark because even compared to siblings, there's just a certain bond between twins that is undeniable and leads to much deeper rifts in their family fabric.

Seems like daytime soaps have an uncanny habit of revealing a shocking doppelganger.

Below, here are some of our favorite dark, deep, twisty, and puzzling twin relationships.

1. Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce - The Vampire Diaries Well, they weren't really twins, but doppelgangers are close enough, right? Dobrev did a marvelous job of separating these two, and an eventual third, Amara, but working as two different »

'Pretty Little Liars': 18 Times Hanna Said What We Were All Thinking

23 August 2016 3:49 AM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Let's be real. As much as we love Pretty Little Liars, some of the things the Liars have to go through can get pretty ridiculous. Luckily, we can always count on Hanna in such situations to be the blunt, comedic relief who says it how it is. Even in real life, we could all use a Hanna to lay things out for us. Her unapologetic attitude and knack for turning a dark situation into something hilarious makes her all of us. Hanna Marin is our spirit animal. Let's look back at 18 times Hanna said exactly what we were thinking.

11 TV Teens Who Definitely Aren't Teens Anymore

It's so hard to be a teenager.

It's even harder to be a teenager when an actor, well into their '20s or '30s, is still tapping into those angsty teen emotions.

A lot of TV studios cast actors who are older than the characters they play.

Here are just a few TV teens who are actually well-past high school.

Pretty Little Liars Round Table: Is Grunwald a Ghost?!?

19 August 2016 9:00 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Did Hanna go too far?

That was a key question after Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 8 in which she went after Noel Kahn.

Below, TV Fanatics Meaghan Frey, Rachel Miller and Jay Ruymann discuss Grunwald's return, Nicole's fate and Spencer's possible sibling...

What did you think of Grunwald's return?

Meaghan: Per the usual all she did was spout of a lot of the usual vague comments. However I think she was more of an omen than anything. I think she was a ghost coming to warn Hanna. She looked in the mirror in Lucas' apartment and only Hanna showed in the reflection. Sure it looked like Noel looked at her before he said "freaks" but I think he was just looking in the direction Hanna was staring wondering what she was looking at.

Rachel: I’ve always liked Grunwald’s creepy essence, but she never gives the girls any valuable information. »
