Jackie is spending time with her family at the beach but still shows that she's in charge. At the hospital, Gloria is concerned with the growing disappearance of drugs and gets Jackie to give training to staff on how the properly use the dispensing system. Dr. Cooper lodges a formal complaint against her and she comes within inches of being shot when a deranged patient fires their gun at no one in particular. Eddie is still trying to contact her but she ignores him completely. Until he finds a way to get her attention that she simply cannot avoid. Written by
Did You Know?
After Eddie overdoses on Xanax he admits to Jackie that he wasn't really trying to kill himself. He says "I'm a pharmacist. I know how many not to take." This is true. Even if the tablets were 1 mg, 30 of them are unlikely to be fatal. Xanax overdose alone has a very low death rate. Wikipedia cites a recent study that indicated that in suicides where Xanax was involved that it is usually fatal only when combined with other substances. The death rate when only Xanax was taken is as little as 1%. See more
In the opening moments a bullet damages the Virgin Mary statue and the wall behind it. Later Jackie sits in front of the statue and there is no damage to it or the wall. It hasn't been repaired because the damage remains in a later episode. See more
