A group of friends are partying. Logos of "Crisp" are all over the place. Cam and Ben figure the name will go well with the jeans they are trying to make, the ambitious project they have in which they will become famous. Sleeping over Celine's, Ben awakes to a messy apartment. He gets an invitation for another event which Celine there will be a good crowd.

Ben decides to drop at his old school, the Fashion Institute. He wants to pass his ideas to Fresconi, his old professor. Ben does not get anything solid from the man, but he gets a promise the older man will ask around to see what is happening. Ben gets an urgent call from Cam to go to a jeans shop on 14th Street. There, they try to get the name of the place that put together the jeans at the store. The owner comes out to tell the friends his pants are manufactured in the Bronx. He gives the guys a fake address that turns out to be a meat packing place.

Later on, at the party, Celine is seen talking to hot designer John Varvatos, who is holding court at a table. Cam asks her if she can introduce them, which she does. Varvatos invites them to sit with them for cocktails, but Ben and Cam are seated so far away, they do not get a word with the designer. Cam gets up and makes a corny toast, which does not sit well with the people at the table, but they get the promise of talking to Mr. Varvatos.

The next day, Ben and Cam show up at Varvatps' design studio, but the man is not to be seen. Instead, the friends meet with the man in charge of jeans, who could not be more discouraging, although he points to what the men need to investigate, a pattern maker that will do their samples so they can be shown around. Ben gets a call from Rachel. She wants to meet to discuss what happened the night Ben showed at her front door, but she refused to see him. Nothing comes out of their encounter.

Rene, visiting his grandmother's parish church gets to talk to the priest that knows he has recently come out of jail. He even offers the priest to send him cans of the soft drink he is distributing for the next bingo. Cam and Ben go to see Rene with an installment to repay the money they owe him. Rene takes them outside to show them the way he decorated the truck to distribute the Rasta Monsta drink.

Julian Farino directs this quick paced episode that was written by Rob Weiss. The situation is so New York that even the language is perfect. The series captures two would be entrepreneurs going through their training. Ben and Cam are young New Yorkers full of ambition. Their world and that of their friends are clearly reflected in the series. The young talented actors do a wonderful job to convey the energy of the city.
